Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a safety glass composed of two or more layers of glass bonded together with an interlayer, typically made of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). This construction enhances strength, impact resistance, and durability while preventing the glass from shattering upon breakage. Instead of breaking into sharp fragments, laminated glass holds together, reducing the risk of injury and providing additional security against forced entry and harsh weather conditions. It also offers sound insulation and UV protection, making it ideal for automotive windshields, skylights, windows, and architectural applications in high-security and hurricane-prone areas.
